Choose Takeaway was born in Crieff, Scotland, where we saw firsthand how commission fees from third-party platforms were strangling local restaurants. Piko Bello Pizza was losing thousands of pounds annually to platform commission fees as high as 14%.
So we built something better. A direct ordering platform that saves restaurants money, gives them control, and strengthens their connection with customers. Our first restaurant saved over £17,760 in their first year alone.
Now we're scaling this solution across the UK, powered by our comprehensive full-stack technology platform. From React frontends to Node.js backends, MySQL databases to real-time WebSocket communications, we've built every component to give restaurants complete control. Our system handles everything: secure payment processing, SMS notifications, real-time order management, customer loyalty programs, kitchen displays, and even GPS driver tracking.
